The Dermalift procedure is also known as the ‘liquid facelift”. It started a trend in Korea as a quick, safe and effective lunchtime lift.

Used for overall reduction in lines for the entire face, this procedure works by injecting diluted Dysport intra-dermally (into the skin layer), instead of into the facial muscles. This results in stimulation of the fibroblast cells in the skin layer to cause tightening of collagen fibres.

The tightening of collagen fibres gives a lifting effect to the face when the Dermalift is done on specific points. Additionally, pores are also tightened and skin becomes tighter.

The favourable results of a Dermalift non-surgical facelift can include:

The treatment that tightens pores gives the skin a smooth glass look.

* decrease in the look of lines and wrinkles

* toned, raised and firmed facial muscles- especially around drooping lower eyelids and jowls

* firmer facial shapes

* tighter pores resulting in better-looking skin

* improved look of scars

* noticeably reduced puffiness and shadows around the eyes

Dermalift are known to treat:

  • Wrinkles around eyebrows and eyes

  • Square jaws

  • Round face

  • Pore reductions

The injection technique differs from standard injections, as the toxin is injected into the skin layer instead of the facial muscles. The fibroblast cells in the skin layer will cause the tightening of collagen fibres, creating a lifting effect to the face. This technique allows patients to animate freely after the Dermalift procedure as the injection and concentration of the toxin used will not “freeze” the patient’s face.

The greatest difference lies in the injection technique and concentration used. Dermalift is administered into the intradermal layers, while botox is delivered into the muscle. Botox aims at reducing muscle contractions while Dermalift aims at creating a skin smoothening effect instead.

  • Patients who are in their 20s to late 30s with mild to moderate skin sagging and wrinkling, This is because they usually still have a decent amount of collagen in their skin and hence, respond optimally to this procedure.
  • For patients who want a no-downtime and immediate facelift!

Dermalift is generally not recommended for pregnant or breast-feeding individuals.

Dermalift provides a non-surgical immediate facelift effect. The results vary depending on existing ageing signs before treatments.

In general, the effects lasts 3 – 4 months after the first treatment. You will be able to see some results immediately after the procedure. However, optimal results will be seen usually within 2 weeks.

*Results may vary with individuals

There is no downtime for the Dermalift treatment and you can resume your normal daily activities after the treatment.

The procedure uses very thin needles and you may just feel a minor stinging sensation. Numbing cream can also be applied to further reduce discomfort.
