What Is A Skin Booster Treatment?
Skin Boosters help with deep-skin hydration, improved skin elasticity, smoothening of rough skin and luminous skin complexion. Are Skin Boosters Like Dermal Fillers?
Skin Booster injections in Singapore are not the same as dermal fillers. Skin Booster treatments boost the skin for a beautiful rejuvenated look by acting as an internal moisturiser to improve skin quality, texture, and appearance. This makes it perfect for treating dull, tired-looking skin; fine lines and wrinkles; and areas of skin damage, for example, from acne or sun damage. They are made from lightweight hyaluronic acid (HA) gel which is placed into skin layers to hydrate and stimulate new natural collagen production and a subtle whitening effect. While conventional dermal fillers are injected beneath the skin to add volume and fill wrinkles, skin boosters are injected into the skin itself to intensely hydrate and improve overall skin quality.
The range of fillers within a brand act as a palette for one to select the ideal product for the required site of rejuvenation. Teoxane provides the following skin booster types – the RHA range that is more flexible for filling of highly mobile areas, and the non-RHA range, that include soft fillers like Redensity 1 and Redensity 2 for hydration, to the hard Ultra Deep for providing rigid support. RHA 1 by Teoxane®
RHA 1 is a mix of cross linked and non cross linked HA that treats dynamic fine lines as well as textural irregularities on the skin. This treatment is injected by hand into the mid dermis to maintain an optimal level of dermal hydration and thickness. RHA 1 was launched at the start of an age of more resilient, pliable HA fillers specially designed for facial areas with dynamic movement. It is designed with very high stretching capabilities to accompany facial dynamics with excellent bio integration for visible but natural improvements.
Redensity 1 by Teoxane®
Under our Bare SkinBoosters with Teoxane® treatment in Singapore, we also have the Redensity 1 designed for skin re-densification and prevention of the signs of ageing. This 3-in-1 patented formula prevents wrinkle appearance and rehydrates the face, neck and decolletage. On top of the premium HA, it contains a cocktail of 8 amino acids for cell regeneration and hydration, 3 antioxidants, including glutathione for protection against free radicals, and 2 minerals and 1 vitamin for skin health and cell metabolism. This is not seen in any other skin booster in the world.
Redensity 1 is effective in tissue restructuring and cell regeneration, and provides antioxidant protection as well as lasting skin quality improvements in hydration, radiance, elasticity and texture. This makes it a good boost for all skin types. However, we wouldn’t recommend the Teoxane® SkinBoosters treatment for people who scar or mark easily or those with blood clotting disorders.

Bare Skin Boosters with Teoxane are Comfortable
Basically, it feels like a series of small, fast ‘stings’ to the face. Numbing cream is used to reduce the impact; you won’t feel too much pain/ discomfort on the majority of your face. However, the under-eye area and some more ‘boney’ points of your face like forehead and cheekbones, you may feel a slight stingas compared to the softer parts of your face. It feels very much like a laser treatment and any pain you feel will be gone by the time you’re walking out the door.
How long do Teosyal Skinboosters last?
The recommended practive is three treatments with three or four weeks between each treatment. Once you’ve done the full set, the results should last up to six months. “Smoking and frequent travel — especially without regular moisturisation — can reduce the effectiveness of the treatments,"
The Recommended Process for Bare Skin Boosters with Teoxane®
In order to get a better outcome from Bare Skin Boosters with Teoxane®, you will be advised to complete a series of 3 treatments, 3 weeks apart. Once you complete this initial treatment phase, results can be expected to last in the skin for around 6 months.
After this time, you can top up the treatment with one syringe at quarterly intervals or repeat the full course every 6 months. It is not compulsory to complete all 3 treatments, and you may stop the course at any time without adverse effects. If you choose to stop after 1 or 2 treatments or complete the treatment at a different interval, your results may be less optimal or last for a shorter length of time. If for any reason you do not complete your treatment, you can start again at any time.
Is There Any Downtime?
A very slight lack of comfort and a few small spots may appear at the injection points. These inconveniences generally disappear within one to two days after injection.
