What Is BTL Exilis Elite™

BTL Exilis Elite™ uses patented Focused RF technology to stimulate collagen and delivers heat energy to fat cells, thereby melting fat and tightening skin all at the same time without the need for surgery. Through the thermolipolysis process, the targeted fat cells are heated to a temperature at which they are destroyed and permanently eliminated from the body through lymphatic drainage. The thermal energy simultaneously encourages the production of new and firmer collagen, which tightens the skin.

BTL Exilis Elite™ is equipped with two different applicators, one for the face and one for the body.

The face applicator offers tightening in all areas of the face and neck showing sagging, such as the forehead, eyelids, cheekbones, cheeks and neckline. Enhanced with an ultrasound function, it provides better heat diffusion, and an overall smoother result.

The body applicator, apart from skin tightening, is a unique handpiece designed to cool the surface of the skin and deliver high heat energy to the layers of fats under the skin. This cooling component ensures that high energy can be delivered without injuring the skin surface. Who Can Benefit From BTL Exilis Elite™?

The treatment is a good option for patients between the ages of 25 to 70+ who desire aesthetic improvement without the costly price and recovery time of surgery. Both men and women who have fat accumulation in any specific body area or those who have experienced the signs of ageing like wrinkles, fine lines, and sagging skin are good candidates for BTL Exilis Elite™.

However, patients with any sort of life-sustaining device (heart defibrillator, pacemaker), any major metal implants in the body (except dental work) or any woman who is breastfeeding or pregnant should not undergo this treatment.

How Soon Can I See The Results?

This treatment does not give instant results. You will see a gradual improvement in the following weeks. Remember that it does not promise dramatic results, especially when other factors come into play. However, it has been proven to improve the appearance of wrinkles and saggy skin, enhancing your facial and body contours. The outcome will vary for each patient due to how the skin responds to treatments

What Do I Need To Do Before And After The BTL Exilis Elite™ Treatment?

You should drink at least 8 glasses of water a day the day before, on the day of, and the day after BTL Exilis Elite™ treatment. Apart from increasing water intake, patients should also engage in light exercises, such as walking to enhance cosmetic results.

Please note that after the treatment, some pinkness on the treated area (face or body) may last for about 15 to 30 minutes. Avoid applying any topical solutions.

How Long Does Exilis® Last?

Exilis® Elite treatments will last well as long as you keep up with the treatment plan. Thereafter, a maintenance treatment is recommended every 3 months.

How Many Exilis® Treatments Are Needed For The Face?

The recommended course of treatment is generally 4 to 8 treatments, one every 7 to 14 days. You can have additional treatments if desired. Patients show persistent results at least 6 months after the BTL Exilis Elite™ treatment.

Does Exilis® Damage The Skin?

Exilis® treatments do not damage the skin. The RF waves it employs are safe for skin tightening in a non-invasive manner without the costs and recovery time required for surgeries. You may see some pinkness in the targeted areas for about half an hour after treatment. This is normal and will fade away.
